Africa Regional Council Annual Event

The African Regional Council (ARC) held its annual event on September 4-5, 2019 at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The ARC Planning Committee, led by Private Sector Co-Chair Wayne Hendricks of Macquarie Group, Private Sector Vice Chair Chris Daniel of Michigan State University and Public Sector Co-Chair Patrick Mills of the U.S. Department of State, created a robust agenda covering critical and timely topics for the African region.

Programs included presentations on Ebola in the DRC, Trends in the Sahel, Threats to Africa’s Borders, Duty of Care, Social Media Misinformation, case studies and panels by Regional Security Officers and KNR.
