ISF Leader Spotlight: The Boeing Company

Second in our ISF Leader Spotlight series is The Boeing Company, an ISF founding donor helping to fund OSAC’s critical security information exchange programs.

Why Does Boeing Support ISF?

“Boeing supports ISF because it’s imperative that OSAC and its Regional and Country Councils have the financial support necessary to thrive in the dynamic global security environment that exists today. The ability to bring people together to share critical threat and risk information is essential to keeping people safe. ISF support allows these engagements to occur regularly and in a professional, comfortable manner.” – Dave Komendat, Vice President and Chief Security Officer, The Boeing Company, and ISF Board member

How Do OSAC Programs Help Boeing?

“OSAC programs act as a ‘force multiplier’ to Boeing’s global security staff as we support over 12,000 internationally based employees residing in 72 countries. The ability to reach out and request information from OSAC’s Risk Staff, engage with the RSOs, attend regional or country council meetings, participate in OSAC/ISMA training sessions and receive regular, topical risk summaries has greatly increased our security team’s knowledge base and expertise. As a result, the risk to our internally based employees and travelers is reduced.

In times of crisis, OSAC is invaluable by providing timely, event information that helps us make rationale, critical decisions quickly resulting in reduced risk and added protection for our people. Boeing has had a long-standing relationship with OSAC and views this partnership as a critical element in our overall security posture.” – Dave Komendat

Highlights of Boeing’s Leadership Support of ISF

ISF counts on The Boeing Company’s standard-bearing generosity to fund OSAC events and set the bar for other corporations, organizations and individuals. The Federal Advisory Committee Act prohibits OSAC from paying for regional, country and sector-specific educational events. Gifts to the ISF ensure that these critical security information exchange programs occur – all at no cost to OSAC constituents.

Thank you, Boeing!
