Media Entertainment Working Group Spring Meeting

On May 9, 2019, members of the Media and Entertainment Working Group (MEWG) enjoyed its bi-annual meeting at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

The MEWG Committee and OSAC staff created a robust agenda that addressed the unique security challenges within the media and entertainment landscape. With topics including Creating a Culture of Security Awareness and a panel discussion on Talent and Production Risk Management, the day centered on collaboration and sharing of best-practice security techniques and tools across the media and entertainment industry.

The MEWG is chaired by Patrick Hawk, Vice President, Global Safety and Security, Discovery. The MEWG Vice Chair is Paul Kennedy, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Security and Surveillance, Caesars Entertainment. Thank you to them, their dedicated MEWG committee and to OSAC staff for developing such an important program.
